Ride & Passenger Terms

These Ride & Passenger Terms govern the use of ride booking services offered through the FasstKart platform. By booking, accepting or providing a ride, you agree to comply with these Terms, our Privacy Policy, applicable laws and all other platform policies.

1. Introduction

FasstKart provides a technology platform that connects Passengers with independent Ride Service Providers and Drivers. FasstKart facilitates booking, communication, ride management and payment processing where applicable. FasstKart is not a transportation company and does not own, operate or control vehicles unless expressly stated otherwise.

Important Every Passenger, Driver and Ride Service Provider is responsible for complying with these Terms and all applicable Indian laws.

2. Definitions

Passenger Any registered user booking a ride through FasstKart.
Ride Service Provider An individual or business registered on FasstKart that offers transportation services.
Driver A verified person assigned to operate the registered vehicle.
Ride Transportation requested through the FasstKart platform.
OTP One-Time Password used for secure ride verification.

3. Eligibility

  • User must create a valid FasstKart account.
  • User must provide accurate information.
  • Passengers should be legally capable of entering into a contract.
  • Ride Service Providers and Drivers must possess all legally required documents.
  • FasstKart may suspend accounts providing false information.
  • Identity verification may be requested whenever necessary.

4. Ride Booking

  • Passengers must enter correct pickup and drop locations.
  • Estimated fare may vary depending upon actual route and conditions.
  • Ride availability depends upon nearby Ride Service Providers.
  • FasstKart cannot guarantee immediate driver availability.
  • Passengers must verify booking details before confirming.
  • Special requests are subject to Driver acceptance.

5. OTP Verification

For passenger safety and fraud prevention, every ride may require OTP verification before the trip begins.

  • Passenger must share OTP only after confirming vehicle and driver details.
  • Driver must never ask for OTP before arriving at pickup location.
  • Ride begins only after successful OTP verification.
  • Sharing OTP with unauthorized persons is strictly prohibited.
  • FasstKart may cancel rides with repeated OTP verification failures.
Security Advice Never share your OTP over phone calls, messages or social media.

6. Passenger Responsibilities

  • Maintain respectful behaviour.
  • Wear helmet or seat belt wherever applicable.
  • Do not damage vehicle property.
  • Do not carry prohibited items.
  • Do not exceed permitted passenger capacity.
  • Follow all traffic and safety instructions.
  • Do not consume alcohol, drugs or smoke where prohibited.
  • Keep personal belongings secure.

7. Driver Responsibilities

  • Maintain valid Driving Licence.
  • Maintain valid Vehicle Registration.
  • Maintain valid Insurance.
  • Maintain Pollution Certificate.
  • Drive safely and obey traffic laws.
  • Treat passengers respectfully.
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness.
  • Do not demand unauthorized charges.
  • Complete rides honestly.
  • Protect passenger privacy.

8. Ride Service Provider Responsibilities

  • Register only genuine vehicles.
  • Provide accurate business information.
  • Ensure drivers possess valid documents.
  • Maintain vehicle safety standards.
  • Comply with Motor Vehicles Act and applicable regulations.
  • Cooperate during investigations.
  • Immediately report accidents involving platform rides.

9. Vehicle Requirements

Every vehicle used for providing a ride through FasstKart must be roadworthy, properly maintained and legally permitted to operate.

  • The vehicle details must match the information registered on FasstKart.
  • The vehicle must have a valid Registration Certificate.
  • The vehicle must have valid motor insurance as required by law.
  • A valid Pollution Under Control certificate must be maintained wherever applicable.
  • The vehicle must not be used beyond its legally permitted seating capacity.
  • Required safety equipment must be available and maintained.
  • Two-wheeler drivers must provide a legally compliant helmet where required.
  • Seat belts must remain functional in vehicles where they are required.
  • A damaged, unsafe or materially different vehicle must not be used for a confirmed ride.

10. Fare, Charges and Payment

The fare shown at the time of booking may be an estimate unless it is expressly described as a fixed fare.

The final payable amount may include:

  • Base fare.
  • Distance-based charges.
  • Time-based charges.
  • Waiting charges.
  • Night, peak-time or demand-based charges.
  • Toll, parking or entry charges.
  • Taxes, platform charges or other disclosed fees.
  • Additional charges accepted by the Passenger before or during the ride.

Passengers must use only the payment methods officially displayed or approved through the FasstKart platform.

  • Drivers must not demand undisclosed or unauthorized amounts.
  • Passengers must pay the confirmed ride amount through the selected payment method.
  • Any toll or parking amount charged separately must relate to the actual ride.
  • Payment availability may vary according to the location, service or provider.
  • FasstKart may place a transaction on hold where fraud, dispute or verification concerns arise.
Payment Safety FasstKart, its Drivers and Ride Service Providers will never require a Passenger to disclose a UPI PIN, ATM PIN, card PIN, password or full banking credentials.

11. Waiting Charges

  • Passengers should be present at the selected pickup location on time.
  • A reasonable waiting period may be provided after the Driver reaches the pickup location.
  • Waiting charges may apply after the available free waiting period ends.
  • The applicable waiting charge may depend on the vehicle, location, ride type and operational conditions.
  • The Driver must not falsely mark arrival before reaching the pickup location.
  • The Passenger must not intentionally keep the Driver waiting without communication.

12. Toll, Parking and Additional Charges

  • Actual toll, parking, airport, railway station or entry charges may be payable by the Passenger.
  • Such charges may be included in the fare or collected separately as displayed or communicated.
  • The Driver must not claim toll or parking charges that were not incurred.
  • Any material change to the route or destination may result in a revised fare.
  • Passengers should review the final fare details before completing payment.

13. Passenger Cancellation

A Passenger may cancel a ride through the available cancellation option, subject to the ride status and applicable cancellation conditions.

  • A cancellation charge may apply after a Driver accepts the request.
  • A higher charge may apply after the Driver reaches or approaches the pickup location.
  • No cancellation charge should apply where the Driver requests the Passenger to cancel without a valid reason.
  • Repeated or abusive cancellations may result in restrictions on the account.
  • Any applicable cancellation amount should be displayed or communicated before confirmation wherever reasonably possible.

14. Driver Cancellation

A Driver may cancel a ride for a genuine operational, safety or legal reason.

Valid reasons may include:

  • Incorrect or inaccessible pickup location.
  • Passenger not being available after the permitted waiting period.
  • Passenger attempting to exceed the lawful seating capacity.
  • Unsafe, threatening, abusive or unlawful conduct.
  • Request to carry prohibited or dangerous items.
  • Vehicle breakdown or medical emergency.
  • Conditions making the ride unsafe or legally impermissible.

Drivers must not repeatedly cancel confirmed rides without a genuine reason. FasstKart may review frequent cancellation activity.

15. No-Show Policy

A Passenger may be treated as a no-show when:

  • The Passenger is unavailable at the confirmed pickup point.
  • The Passenger does not respond through the available communication method.
  • The applicable waiting period has expired.
  • The Passenger refuses to begin the ride without a valid reason after the Driver arrives.

A Driver may be treated as a no-show when the Driver marks arrival without reaching the pickup point, fails to communicate or does not provide the confirmed vehicle service.

Cancellation, waiting or account-related action may apply after review.

16. Route and Destination Changes

  • Passengers must enter the intended destination accurately.
  • A destination or route change is subject to Driver acceptance.
  • The revised fare may be based on the actual distance, duration and applicable charges.
  • A Driver may refuse a destination change that is unsafe, unlawful or materially different from the accepted ride.
  • Passengers must not pressure a Driver to use a prohibited or unsafe route.
  • Drivers must not intentionally take an unreasonable route to increase the fare.

17. Passenger Safety

  • Verify the Driver name, photograph, vehicle number and vehicle type before boarding.
  • Do not board a materially different or unidentified vehicle.
  • Share the ride OTP only after verifying the Driver and vehicle.
  • Wear a helmet or seat belt wherever required.
  • Do not distract the Driver while the vehicle is moving.
  • Do not ask the Driver to violate traffic rules.
  • Use the available trip-sharing, emergency or reporting feature where offered.
  • Immediately report serious safety concerns through the appropriate channel.

18. Driver Safety and Conduct

  • Drivers must operate the vehicle carefully and lawfully.
  • Drivers must not use a mobile phone while driving except through a lawful hands-free or navigation arrangement.
  • Drivers must not provide rides while under the influence of alcohol, narcotics or impairing substances.
  • Drivers must take reasonable breaks and must not drive when medically unfit or excessively fatigued.
  • Drivers must not behave aggressively, threaten, harass or discriminate against a Passenger.
  • Drivers must not make unwanted personal contact after a completed ride.
  • Passenger information must be used only for completing the ride and resolving legitimate issues.

19. Helmets and Seat Belts

  • Passengers and Drivers must follow all applicable helmet and seat-belt laws.
  • A two-wheeler Driver must not begin a ride where legally required safety equipment is unavailable.
  • Passengers must correctly wear the helmet or seat belt provided or available.
  • A Passenger refusing mandatory safety equipment may be denied service.
  • Parents or guardians remain responsible for ensuring lawful and safe travel of children.
Safety Comes First Neither a Passenger nor a Driver should continue a ride where doing so would create an immediate and unreasonable safety risk.

20. Children, Minors and Dependent Passengers

  • A minor should travel with a parent, guardian or responsible adult unless applicable law expressly permits otherwise.
  • The booking account holder is responsible for providing correct passenger information.
  • The accompanying adult is responsible for supervising the minor throughout the ride.
  • Child seating, helmet and restraint requirements must be followed wherever applicable.
  • A Driver may refuse a ride that cannot be completed safely or lawfully with a minor passenger.

21. Passengers Requiring Assistance

Passengers requiring reasonable assistance should communicate their needs while booking or before the ride begins.

  • Assistance is subject to vehicle suitability and Driver capability.
  • Drivers must treat passengers respectfully and must not engage in unlawful discrimination.
  • A Driver is not required to provide medical care or perform an unsafe physical task.
  • Passengers requiring specialised medical transportation should use an appropriately authorised service.
  • FasstKart does not represent ordinary ride services as ambulance or emergency medical transportation.

22. Luggage and Personal Items

  • Passengers must disclose unusually large, heavy or special luggage before the ride where possible.
  • Luggage must not block the Driver’s view or interfere with safe vehicle operation.
  • The Driver may refuse luggage that exceeds the safe or lawful capacity of the vehicle.
  • Passengers remain responsible for securing and collecting their belongings.
  • Dangerous, unlawful, leaking, offensive or inadequately packed items are prohibited.

23. Prohibited Items During a Ride

Passengers must not carry or request transportation of items prohibited under applicable law or the FasstKart Restricted Items Policy.

Prohibited items include, without limitation:

  • Illegal drugs and narcotic substances.
  • Unauthorised firearms, ammunition, weapons or explosives.
  • Hazardous, toxic, radioactive or highly flammable materials.
  • Stolen or counterfeit goods.
  • Unlawful wildlife products.
  • Items intended for fraud, violence or another unlawful activity.
  • Any item that creates an unreasonable risk to the Driver, vehicle, public or environment.

24. Prohibited Conduct

Passengers, Drivers and Ride Service Providers must not:

  • Harass, threaten, assault or abuse another person.
  • Engage in sexual misconduct or make unwanted advances.
  • Discriminate unlawfully against another person.
  • Make fraudulent or fake bookings.
  • Manipulate the fare, route, location or ride status.
  • Damage the vehicle or another person’s property.
  • Carry out an unlawful transaction during a ride.
  • Record another person unlawfully or misuse their personal information.
  • Smoke or consume intoxicating substances where prohibited.
  • Interfere with the Driver’s control of the vehicle.
  • Use the platform to arrange an unauthorised off-platform ride intended to avoid applicable platform processes.

25. Intoxication and Unsafe Behaviour

  • A Driver must never provide a ride while impaired by alcohol, drugs or another substance.
  • A Driver may refuse or end a ride where a Passenger’s conduct creates a serious safety risk.
  • An intoxicated Passenger must not threaten, distract or physically interfere with the Driver.
  • Where safe and lawful, the Driver should stop the vehicle at an appropriate location before ending a ride.
  • Serious misconduct may be reported to the appropriate authorities.

26. Emergency, Accident and Breakdown

In an immediate emergency, users should first contact the appropriate police, ambulance, fire or other local emergency service.

  • The Driver must stop safely and provide reasonable assistance after an accident.
  • The Driver or Ride Service Provider must report a serious accident involving a platform ride to FasstKart as soon as reasonably possible.
  • Passengers and Drivers should preserve relevant photographs, documents and trip information.
  • A vehicle breakdown may result in the ride being ended, replaced or cancelled.
  • FasstKart may cooperate with insurers, authorities and affected users where legally required.
  • The availability of an SOS feature does not replace official emergency services.
Emergency Notice Do not depend solely on platform messaging during an immediate threat to life, personal safety or property. Contact the appropriate emergency authority without delay.

27. Lost and Found

  • Passengers are responsible for checking the vehicle before leaving.
  • A lost-item report should include the ride details and a clear description of the item.
  • FasstKart may facilitate communication between the Passenger and Driver.
  • FasstKart does not guarantee that a lost item will be found or returned.
  • A reasonable return or travel cost may be payable where the Driver must travel to return an item.
  • Users must not misuse the lost-item process to harass or contact another person unnecessarily.
  • Illegal or suspicious items may be delivered to the appropriate authority instead of the Passenger.

28. Damage and Cleaning Charges

A Passenger may be responsible for reasonable repair or cleaning costs where the Passenger or a person travelling under the booking causes damage or excessive soiling.

  • The Driver or Ride Service Provider must submit appropriate evidence.
  • Normal wear and tear is not chargeable to the Passenger.
  • FasstKart may review photographs, invoices, ride records and user statements.
  • Fraudulent or exaggerated damage claims may result in account action.
  • Payment of a platform-assessed charge does not prevent a lawful claim where greater loss is proven.

29. Ratings, Reviews and Complaints

  • Ratings and reviews must reflect a genuine ride experience.
  • Users must not post abusive, defamatory, misleading or unlawfully discriminatory content.
  • FasstKart may remove reviews that violate platform policies.
  • Users may report safety, fare, conduct, vehicle or service concerns through official support channels.
  • FasstKart may request evidence and statements from all involved parties.
  • Submitting a knowingly false complaint may result in account restrictions.

30. Driver and Vehicle Verification

FasstKart may review identity, driving and vehicle documents submitted by Drivers and Ride Service Providers.

  • Approval does not guarantee that a document will remain valid indefinitely.
  • Drivers and providers must promptly update expired, suspended or changed documents.
  • FasstKart may request reverification at any time.
  • A Passenger should independently verify the displayed vehicle number and Driver details before boarding.
  • Suspected document fraud may result in immediate suspension and reporting to the appropriate authority.

31. Insurance

  • Ride Service Providers and vehicle owners are responsible for maintaining legally required motor insurance.
  • Insurance eligibility, coverage, exclusions and claim settlement depend on the applicable policy terms.
  • FasstKart does not guarantee that every loss, injury or claim will be covered by insurance.
  • Drivers and Passengers must provide truthful information during an insurance or accident investigation.
  • Any optional insurance benefit will be governed by its separate policy wording.

32. Role of FasstKart

FasstKart provides technology for connecting users and facilitating ride requests, communication, tracking, verification and payments where available.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, Drivers and Ride Service Providers operate independently and are responsible for their vehicles, licences, conduct, service delivery and compliance with applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms creates an employment, partnership, joint venture, agency or franchise relationship between FasstKart and an independent Driver or Ride Service Provider merely because the platform is used.

33. Limitation of Responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, FasstKart is not responsible for:

  • Service delays caused by traffic, weather, road closures, public events or other circumstances outside reasonable control.
  • Passenger or Driver conduct that FasstKart could not reasonably prevent.
  • Loss of unsecured personal belongings.
  • Incorrect pickup, destination or contact information supplied by a user.
  • Service unavailability caused by network, device, map or third-party system failure.
  • Indirect or consequential losses not directly caused by FasstKart.

Nothing in these Terms excludes any responsibility that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.

34. Privacy and Use of Ride Information

FasstKart may process information reasonably required to provide, secure and improve ride services, including:

  • Account and contact details.
  • Pickup and drop locations.
  • Live or periodic location information during an active ride.
  • Driver and vehicle details.
  • Ride status, fare and payment information.
  • Support, complaint and safety records.

Such information will be handled in accordance with the FasstKart Privacy Policy and applicable law.

35. Suspension and Termination

FasstKart may temporarily restrict, suspend or terminate an account where reasonably necessary for safety, compliance, fraud prevention or enforcement.

Reasons may include:

  • False identity, licence or vehicle information.
  • Unsafe driving or serious passenger misconduct.
  • Fraud, fare manipulation or payment abuse.
  • Repeated unjustified cancellations.
  • Harassment, violence or discrimination.
  • Carrying or transporting prohibited items.
  • Misuse of OTP, location, account or personal information.
  • Violation of law or another FasstKart policy.

Where appropriate and legally permissible, FasstKart may request an explanation, supporting documents or corrective action before restoring access.

36. Cooperation with Authorities

FasstKart may preserve and disclose relevant information where required by law, a valid legal request or a genuine emergency involving safety, fraud, crime or public interest.

Drivers, Ride Service Providers and Passengers must cooperate honestly in lawful investigations.

37. Complaints and Dispute Resolution

Users should first raise a complaint through the official FasstKart Contact Us or Grievance Redressal page.

A complaint should include:

  • Registered name and contact details.
  • Ride or booking reference.
  • Date, time, pickup and destination information.
  • Description of the issue.
  • Relevant photographs, receipts or other supporting evidence.

FasstKart may review system records and obtain information from the Passenger, Driver, Ride Service Provider, payment provider or another relevant party.

38. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India.

Subject to applicable consumer protection law and any mandatory dispute resolution requirement, disputes relating to these Terms will fall under the jurisdiction of the competent courts serving Singrauli, Madhya Pradesh.

39. Changes to These Terms

FasstKart may update these Terms to reflect changes in law, safety standards, platform features, payment processes or operational requirements.

The revised version and effective date will be published on this page. Continued use of ride services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms, subject to applicable law.

Acceptance of Ride Terms

By booking, accepting, starting or completing a ride through FasstKart, the Passenger, Driver and Ride Service Provider confirm that they have read, understood and agreed to these Ride & Passenger Terms and the other applicable FasstKart policies.
