1. Scope
This Policy applies to payments relating to:
- Marketplace product orders.
- Delivery and pickup services.
- Ride bookings.
- Platform or service fees.
- Cancellation, waiting, toll or handling charges.
- Refunds, settlements and partner payouts.
2. Supported Payment Methods
Depending on availability, service type and location, FasstKart may support:
- UPI payments.
- Cash on Delivery or cash payment.
- Authorised payment-gateway services.
- Wallet payments, where introduced.
- Bank transfer for approved business settlements.
- Other lawful payment methods displayed by the Platform.
FasstKart may enable, disable or restrict a payment method based on security, operational availability, transaction history, service type or applicable legal requirements.
3. Pricing, Fees and Charges
Before confirmation, the Platform may display:
- Product or service price.
- Delivery or ride charge.
- Platform or convenience fee.
- Waiting, toll or special-handling charge.
- Applicable taxes.
- Discounts or promotional adjustments.
The final payable amount may change where the customer requests an address change, additional distance, additional waiting or another material service modification.
Any additional amount should be shown or communicated before final service completion wherever reasonably possible.
4. UPI Payments
Where UPI payment is available, the user should verify:
- The displayed merchant or recipient name.
- The exact payable amount.
- The order or ride reference.
- The payment status shown by the bank or UPI application.
A payment screenshot alone may not be treated as final proof of successful payment. FasstKart may verify the transaction through the payment reference, bank confirmation or payment-provider record.
Users must not approve unknown collect requests or scan QR codes received from unauthorised persons claiming to represent FasstKart.
5. Cash on Delivery and Cash Payments
Cash on Delivery may be available for selected orders, sellers, users, locations and order amounts.
The customer should:
- Keep the correct payable amount reasonably available.
- Pay only the amount shown or lawfully updated.
- Request or preserve an available payment receipt.
- Not hand over additional cash without a clear reason.
- Not share payment or account OTPs unnecessarily.
FasstKart may restrict COD for accounts showing repeated refusal, false orders, unpaid deliveries or suspected misuse.
COD refunds may require a verified UPI ID or bank account because the original cash transaction cannot ordinarily be automatically reversed.
6. Third-Party Payment Providers
Online payments may be processed by authorised banks, UPI applications, payment gateways or other payment-service providers.
FasstKart may receive and store limited payment information such as:
- Transaction reference.
- Payment method.
- Payment status.
- Amount.
- Refund reference.
- Settlement status.
FasstKart should not store your UPI PIN, card PIN, CVV or internet-banking password.
Payment-provider terms and privacy practices may also apply to the payment service selected by the user.
7. Payment Verification
An order, ride or service may be treated as paid only after FasstKart receives reliable confirmation of successful payment.
Payment verification may include:
- Payment-provider confirmation.
- Bank or UPI transaction reference.
- Internal payment-status update.
- Manual reconciliation where necessary.
- Confirmation from an authorised collection partner.
FasstKart may delay fulfilment where payment status remains unverified, pending, disputed or inconsistent.
8. Pending Transactions
A payment may remain pending because of:
- Slow bank or UPI response.
- Network or internet interruption.
- Payment-provider processing delay.
- Incomplete authentication.
- Delayed confirmation received by FasstKart.
Users should avoid immediately paying again until they have checked the order and payment status.
Where payment remains pending for an unreasonable period, the user may contact FasstKart support and the relevant bank or payment provider.
9. Failed Payments
A failed transaction may occur where payment authentication or confirmation is not completed.
If an amount appears deducted but the transaction is marked failed:
- Preserve the payment reference and screenshot.
- Check the bank or UPI transaction history.
- Do not share your PIN, password or OTP with support.
- Contact the bank or payment provider where necessary.
- Contact FasstKart with the order and transaction reference.
The amount may be automatically reversed by the bank or payment provider. The reversal period may depend on the relevant provider.
10. Duplicate or Excess Payment
Where the same order or service is paid more than once, the user should provide:
- Order or booking number.
- Each payment reference.
- Payment date and amount.
- Bank or UPI screenshot where available.
After successful verification, an eligible duplicate amount may be refunded to the original payment method or another verified method.
FasstKart may refuse a duplicate-payment claim where only one payment was actually received or where the supporting records are inconsistent.
11. Refund Processing
Refund eligibility is governed by the Refund & Cancellation Policy, seller terms, service status and applicable law.
Approved refunds may be processed through:
- The original payment method.
- A verified UPI ID.
- A verified bank account.
- FasstKart wallet, where available and accepted.
- Another lawful agreed method.
FasstKart may require payment-reference verification and reasonable identity confirmation before processing a refund.
Once initiated, the credit time may depend on the bank, UPI service or payment provider.
12. Chargebacks and Payment Reversals
A chargeback is a payment dispute raised through a bank, card issuer or payment provider.
Before raising a chargeback, users should first contact FasstKart where the issue can reasonably be resolved through the normal grievance or refund process.
FasstKart may provide the payment provider with relevant evidence, including:
- Order or ride details.
- Payment record.
- Delivery or service status.
- OTP or confirmation record.
- Customer communication.
- Refund or cancellation record.
Fraudulent or abusive chargebacks may result in account restriction, recovery of unpaid amounts or other lawful action.
13. Payment Security
Users must:
- Use only trusted payment applications and devices.
- Verify recipient and amount before payment.
- Never disclose UPI PIN, card PIN, CVV or banking password.
- Not allow unknown persons to remotely access their device.
- Not install applications sent by unknown support callers.
- Report suspected fraud to their bank immediately.
- Use the official FasstKart contact information for support.
An OTP used for login, payment or account security should not be shared with a seller, driver or delivery partner unless the Platform clearly identifies that OTP as a delivery or service-completion OTP.
14. Payment Fraud and Misuse
FasstKart may review, delay, reject or cancel a transaction where there is reasonable evidence of:
- Unauthorised payment use.
- False payment screenshots.
- Manipulated transaction references.
- Repeated COD refusal.
- Refund or chargeback abuse.
- Stolen account or payment details.
- Payment diversion outside approved channels.
- Money laundering or unlawful activity.
FasstKart may preserve relevant records and cooperate with banks, payment providers or lawful authorities where necessary.
15. Payments to Sellers
Seller settlements may be subject to:
- Successful order completion.
- Refund and cancellation adjustments.
- Applicable platform charges.
- Delivery or service deductions.
- Taxes or statutory deductions where applicable.
- Fraud, dispute or reconciliation holds.
- The separate Seller Agreement.
Sellers must maintain accurate and authorised payout information.
FasstKart may temporarily hold a settlement while a transaction, refund, complaint or fraud issue is being investigated.
16. Delivery Partner and Driver Payouts
Delivery-partner or driver payouts may depend on:
- Successful assignment completion.
- Verified pickup, ride or delivery status.
- Distance, time and applicable service rate.
- COD cash reconciliation.
- Cancellation and waiting-charge rules.
- Penalties or adjustments permitted by agreement.
- Valid bank or UPI payout information.
A payout may be delayed where the completed service, collected cash, identity, bank details or supporting records require verification.
17. Payment Records
FasstKart may retain payment and settlement records for:
- Order and service processing.
- Refund and reconciliation.
- Accounting and taxation.
- Fraud prevention.
- Complaint and dispute resolution.
- Legal and regulatory compliance.
Payment information will be handled in accordance with the FasstKart Privacy Policy.
18. Payment Disputes
To report a payment problem, provide:
- Registered account details.
- Order or booking number.
- Transaction reference.
- Payment date and amount.
- Screenshot or bank record where available.
- Clear description of the issue.
FasstKart may coordinate with the relevant seller, bank, UPI provider, payment gateway, driver or delivery partner to investigate.
Users should immediately notify their bank or payment provider regarding suspected unauthorised payment activity.
